Vinita Nair

In July of 2004 she joined the station as a reporter and reported on a wide range of topics, including an investigation into the killing of Jon Benet Ramsey and the shootings that occurred in Bailey, Colorado. Nair was hired by ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. She was responsible for anchoring live news coverage and also briefings for ABC's digital channels. Nair was a co-anchor for World News Now and America This Morning on ABC, from September 17th of 2008 through February 18, 2011. In both of the shows she first teamed up alongside Jeremy Hubbard then later Rob Nelson. Nair announced to the viewers of World News Now that she will not appear on World News Now after Friday 18th February 2011. She announced that her last day at ABC News would be Friday on February 18. Peggy Bunker, a former anchor on KDVR Denver, was her immediate successor. In each of the three segments of the World News Now's February 18 program, Nair was honored by her former colleagues as well like Jeremy Hubbard. On her last day, Nair treated her crew to a delicious breakfast. Vinita Vinita Vinita Vinita
